Just setting up a journal to explain to random passerbys what we're all about before we go headstrong into being an actual club. Well, I guess club really isn't the appropriate word, but it's about as close as I can get.

VAV (Voice Acting Volunteers) is exactly how is sounds. Voice actors will be able to sign up here at the club here in the near future with their names, roles they've acheived, strengths, weaknesses, and also post link to their audio clips.

It will serve two purposes. 1) for voice actors who want more action and to be heard to get their name put up for people to listen to. It will also give other voice actors a chance to meet each other and collaborate, have some fun, or even help one another out.

And 2) for animators to finds actors/actresses that they need for their animations. By having a list with strengths, weaknesses, a clip of how they sound and any previous work they may have done, they can find that one person perfect for the role they need to fill.





And I will note: We're looking for voice 'actors', not 'voice-speak-into-the-microphoners', so we won't take all applications if we feel you don't have enough enthusiasm or emotion. Otherwise we'd have a list of voicespeakintothemicrophoners and no one who can really act, which is what most viewers of animations, and the animator wants.
